Mana Arts Society

1 JUL – 21 AUG 2022

An exhibition of work by Mana Arts Society members inspired by the theme of Porirua Harbour connections.

Te Awarua-o-Porirua Harbour acts as a point of connection for members of the Mana Arts Society, most of whom live between Tawa and the Kapiti Coast. Porirua Harbour Connections brings together work by Mana Arts Society artists that is influenced by the harbour and its surrounds.

The Mana Arts Society was formed in the Plimmerton area in 1982, through the enthusiasm and inspiration of Tui McLauchlan. The society was formed with the goal to encourage and promote artists and provide space and opportunities for artists to connect with each other.

Members come from all walks of life and have a wide spread of talent and experience, and work with a variety of mediums and styles.
