Our story

Pātaka Art + Museum is the cultural heart of Porirua City, only 15 minutes from Wellington.  We showcase the best in contemporary Māori and Pacific arts, as well as contemporary New Zealand, Asian and international arts and culture. 

We proudly support our community with Bottle Creek Gallery dedicated to local artists.

Galleries open from: 10am – 5pm

SUNDAY

Atrium/spine open from: 9am – 4.30pm

Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day
