Park for up to 3 hours while you visit Te Rauparaha Arena, Porirua Library or Pātaka Art + Museum.
There are eight disabled car parks available. Display your mobility pass when you use these parks.
If you're coming for a big event, we might not have enough parks for everyone. There is free kerbside parking within a few minutes walk on Heriot Drive, Wi Neera Drive and Norrie Street. Most parks are for up to 2 hours, but please check the signs as parking is monitored. We are also only about 5 minutes walk from Porirua train station.
Pātaka is a smoke-free building in line with the SmokeFree Environments Act 1990. This is to prevent the detrimental effect of smoking on the health of people in an enclosed public space.
Public signage is featured throughout the building. Any violation of this policy could lead to patrons being removed from the premises.
All customers to Pātaka and the Porirua City Centre Library have free access to PoriruaFree wifi while in the building. Daily limits apply.
