Born and raised in Porirua, Samoan/Tokelauan Actor, writer, and stunt artist Sala Baker is a powerhouse physical performer whose career spans 26 years across major international film and television productions. He started in the role of Sauron for Lord of the Rings and has been based in LA since 1999.

As the inaugural Le Moana Artist in Residence, Sala has created a short film inspired by his upbringing in Aotearoa and the local stories that have shaped the successful artist that he is today.
