The Spine hosts the AHI KĀ Collective, with locally created taonga and artworks for sale, while also demonstrating traditional practices of whakairo and raranga (carving and weaving).

The courtyard will be alive songs and reggae vibes from local artists Mocean: Himiona Grace (Ngāti Toa, Te Ati Awa, Ngāti Porou) and Julia Truscott. Free whānau activities include taonga whakarākei, create an embellishment/bag charm from wooden beads and cord. Face Painters from Rainbow circus will be creating Waitangi Day inspired designs. Food trucks and refreshments alongside Norrie Street and Te Rauparaha Arena from 12pm.
