This exhibition showcases a wide range of the crafts and art works made by members of the Wellington Guild of Woodworkers.
The Festival of Wood 2022 exhibition will display the best of wood craftsmanship, using largely but not exclusively native timbers such as Matai, Rimu, Totara, and ancient Kauri reclaimed from forests of millenniums past. These creative works, which are uniquely New Zealand in nature and design, will be available for sale.
Wellington Guild of Woodworkers membership is made up of woodworkers from around the Wellington region and includes people of varying ages, backgrounds and skill levels who share an interest in wood and woodworking.
Members of the Wellington Guild of Woodworkers will on site hosting demonstrations and workshops. Join us for your opportunity to make something special to take home.
