Mauri Oho, are a local group of likeminded weavers exploring Te Ao Māori and Toi Māori to enable self-expression and a collective expression through raranga to satisfy the korero ka mua ka muri.

Kaitiaki are weaving and available to reply to all your questions about the exhibition and artworks.

Mauri Oho Kairaranga Collective are a group of local weavers, exploring and expressing themselves through the many art forms within Te Whare Pora - The house of weaving.

From flax weaving to taniko the exhibition will feature the multiple forms of weaving that their members practice. While some of these items are for display only, there will be some unique and meaningful work available for purchase such as earrings, kete, hats and other adornments.
