What’s on:

01 June – 07 June:
An art display in the Spine (atrium) featuring Samoan artist Ana Teofilo.

Ana Teofilo is a New Zealand-born artist of Samoan descent who has demonstrated significant innovation within her artform, known for her intricate carving and contemporary artistic techniques. Her creative process involves merging elements of her Samoan heritage with Western influences to produce unique and vibrant pieces of art.

7 June at 11am- 11.45am:
Siva Samoa

Professional dancer Ella Enari will perform a traditional Siva Samoa and then give you the chance to try yourself! Join us in the Spine (atrium)


7 June at 12.30pm – 1.15pm:  
A talk with key note speaker Le’autuli’ilagi Taotua Malaeta Fa’asapisapi Sauvao (MNZM)

A distinguished Samoan educator, author, and cultural advocate based in Porirua,  Le’autuli’ilagi has been a prominent figure in preserving and promoting the Sāmoan language and cultural traditions for over 40 years.

Join her Worship the Mayor Anita Baker, the PIC Porirua church community, members of P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A. Inc Whitireia Branch, friends and family for a keynote address on the theme:

Ia malu lou sā. Folau i lagimā – A well-grounded self, is a successful self’. Light refreshments will be provided.
