Join us for a reflection on Jasmine Togo Brisby’s artwork as seen both in the Spine and across the main galleries at Pātaka. Looking at the symbols in Jasmine’s work, we will be making a folded origami waka and reflecting on what freedom means to us.
Taking inspiration from our exhibition Transplant by Heather Kremen in Toi Gallery, we will be making layered putiputi, flowers to remind us of the beautiful blooms which we see as we move into Kōanga, Spring.
