Bebe’s Babes is a joint exhibition by three daughters and two granddaughters of the late Bebe Glading – a landscape painter who lived at Paremata.
Daughters Betty Baldwin (Otaki), Sally Simpson (Wairoa), and Jan Thomson (St Arnaud) are joined by two granddaughters (and daughters of Betty) Robyn Hall (Camborne) and Janice Stocks (Christchurch). All have different styles of painting and use a range of media; all have been inspired by their surroundings, and encouraged by each other to use the talent that is in their blood.
