Toi Object Space
Wellington milliner Liza Foreman would like women to rediscover the pleasure of donning a hat.
These days hats are objects that serve to beautify and embellish, making one feel good, whether you’re the observer of the spectacle or the wearer. What was once a social necessity is now an object of art and body adornment that makes a statement, gets attention and speaks of fun.
Liza has used various traditional millinery techniques with feathers, silks, lace and vintage flowers to create a range of hats, fascinators, corsages and brooches. She focuses on vintage chic, cool elegance and wearability. Her use of summer colours complements the racing and wedding season with oranges, yellows and soft pinks.
