Opening on Porirua’s 50th anniversary weekend, Made in Porirua will be a fun look at the past and present stars of Porirua’s manufacturing industries, how they make what they make and why they make it in Porirua.
With big names like Todd Motors, Whittakers, Aspiring Walls, Kodak, Bonds Hosiery and GEC to name but a few, Made in Porirua will take a look at the businesses and the products that have helped make Porirua grow and flourish, both old ones and new ones, those gone and those still around.
