MONEY TALKS:

25 February - 1 July 2012 An exploration of the world through the imagery of banknotes

The design of banknotes has traditionally included imagery of politicians, statesmen and women, of heroes and of man-made and natural wonders. The exhibition will feature selected banknotes from around the world and tell the stories of the people and places depicted on them using large back-lit graphics, text, photographs and objects. The exhibition will also look at some of the most beautiful banknote designs in the world and discuss the influences that contributed to their design. Money Talks will be further enhanced with the exhibition The Art of Money.
