Peter Trevelyan: Tenuous

PETER TREVELYAN:

5 August - 19 November 2012 Tenuous

Peter Trevelyan's work explores geometry, drawing and triangulation. For this exhibition Trevelyan has created a large, wall-mounted, geometric structure meticulously crafted from graphite pencil leads. Trevelyan builds his geometric structures gradually with great patience and precision. He fuses the delicate pencil leads together into triangles which become the basic unit of the structure; the whole surface is made up of hundreds of triangles. Trevelyan describes his work as a 'three-dimensional drawing'.
