This year’s Whitireia Visual Arts graduating students will showcase their year-end exhibition at Pātaka’s Bottle Creek Community Gallery from 14 November - 13 December.
The Visual Arts and Design degree and graduate diploma enable students to create a body of work that is informed through studio-based research, techniques and experimental methods to contextualise ideas into a dynamic series of art works.
TOAST 2015 covers the breadth of media skill sets and learning on offer at the Whitireia Arts Faculty, including: installation works; digital and graphic design; photography; motion capture; print; paint; fibre; and contemporary art jewellery.
This showcase is designed in collaboration with Pātaka curator Martha Van Drunen.
An awards ceremony and opening will take place on Friday 13 November at Pātaka to celebrate our top artists and designers progressing into their chosen careers.
