The eagerly anticipated Friends of Pātaka Winter Music Series for 2024 offers an eclectic mix of music to entertain throughout  winter Sunday afternoons.

Free to members and children,
$5 for non-members (pay at the door).

Sunday 21 July

The Zephyr Flute Quartet, with Barbara Hill - Flute,  Anne Loeser - Violin,  Victoria Jaenecke - Viola,  Jane Young – Cello present a programme of music by Mozart, Rossini and Gordon Jacob. All four musicians are international players and have performed with the NZSO and other overseas orchestras. Enjoy an afternoon of sublime music.

Even the Lost is an indie folk band from Wellington. Inspired by folk, rock and pop from the nineties, their music mixes electric and acoustic sounds to create a warm backdrop for their songs of love, loss, mistakes and misadventure.

Join the Wellington Male Voice Choir’s musical journey through the United Kingdom and New Zealand under the baton of Music Maestro Mark Stamper. Sample the local “flavours” with their different rhythms, and themes, distinctive vocal tones and styles.

Sunday 11 August

Sunset Special is a group of talented young people from Porirua College. They have been jamming together for 2 years. They play a range of music from RnB, Rock, Blues, Reggae to Polynesian music. This will be a great show!
