Born in Auckland, Glen Wolfgramm is a self-taught artist of Tongan, Irish and German whakapapa. His paintings use liquid media and mark-making techniques. They reflect on both the fusion and tension of recounted identities and draw you into a time and space of endless possibilities to reimagine cultural connection and personal belonging.
Glen Wolfgramm has been exhibiting since 1998. A finalist in multiple Wallace Art Awards, he presented Aotearoa New Zealand at the 2000 Biennale d'Art Contemporain in Noumea.
