A special celebration for the kai stars of Matariki, Tupuārangi and Tupuānuku, the stars connected to food grown in and above the ground.

Weave your own food plate with Mauri Oho weavers, enjoy the famous doughnuts by ‘Family Kitchen with Mark’ and chill to live music. There’ll be Matariki-inspired face paint for the kids too.
To further celebrate the theme, we will be collecting kai on behalf of Te Umu Ki Rangituhi Ngati Toa Social Supermarket who distribute kai to whānau in the Porirua Community. If you have a canned food item to spare, bring it along and receive 10% discount in the Toi Store.
