Four Seasons

Using both traditional and contemporary techniques, the members of Creative Fibre Wellington showcase a broad range of fibrecrafts. Several fibre approaches are employed, from hand felting to hand knitting, crochet, hand weaving, hand spun yarn and fibre art. The natural fibres used are similarly vast, and include wool, silk, alpaca, mohair flax, cotton and bamboo.

For this exhibition, the members of Creative Fibre Wellington have embraced the theme of ‘Four Seasons’ to also engage with a full spectrum of colour.  From three-dimensional felted pieces, to garments and delightful skeins of art yarn, there will be something for everyone to enjoy in this exhibition.
