Ka mua, ka muri: 25 Exhibitions presents a selection of exhibitions from the past 25 years of exhibition programming at Pātaka. These exhibitions have often challenged and progressed how Māori, Pacific and community arts are presented and championed in galleries and museums. In this exhibition, we recall in focus 25 of those exhibitions that made a significant mark in arts discourse. Many other significant shows have been presented at Pātaka, and as part of this exhibition, we share a living chronology of our exhibition history.
