The full height windows of Pātaka’s atrium are a multi-coloured lantern of interconnected geometric forms, flooding the space with fabulous light.

About the exhibition

Created by award-winning New Zealand artist Shannon Novak, this specially-designed installation will flood the atrium with tessellating patterns of colour.

Originally intended to be a short term exhibition, we love it so much we're extending it indefinitly.

Key elements from Pātaka’s window installation are also echoed at other sites scattered throughout the city, including a dynamic makeover of the outside of Cannon’s Creek library.
