This exhibition is an inquiry-based research and exhibition project for Year 7 and 8 students from Porirua Schools initiated at the beginning of 2012. The exhibition compliments the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Each participating school will be represented in an installation display that is based on their research of each particular habitat/biome. Pataka's Educator Linda Fordyce has coordinated the project and along with the education team, have been visiting schools and supporting the teachers and students in creating that installation spaces.
Fun, funky, informed and fantastic - the installation spaces will show you true collaboration based on learning. Visually the exhibition will be stunning. Come along and see what Porirua's Year 7 and 8 students can create.
