Parking is available for up to three hours when you visit Pātaka Art + Museum, Te Rauparaha Arena, or Porirua Library. Disabled car parking is available, with eight spaces - please display your mobility pass at all times.
Heading to Pātaka for a big event? Spaces can be limited and there might not be enough parks for everyone. You'll find free kerbside parking a few minutes away on Heriot Drive, Wi Neera Drive and Norrie Street. Car parks are free for up to two hours, but we'd hate for you to get a ticket so please make sure you check all the signs as parking is monitored. Porirua train station is only a five-minute walk.

Pātaka is a smokefree building in line with the SmokeFree Environments Act 1990. This is to prevent the detrimental effect of smoking on the health of people in an enclosed public space. Public signage is featured throughout the building. Any violation of this policy could lead to patrons being removed from the premises.
We offer free PoriruaFree wifi access to all our customers at Pātaka and the Porirua City Centre Library while you are in the building. Please remember daily limits apply.
